Albert E Farrow (1882 - 1953)

Albert was born in Elmswell on 31st July 1882. He was the son of Frederick Farrow (1855 - 1919) and Charlotte Waterman.

Albert was enlisted in the army (ASC) in 1914 - 1919. He was described at the time as being 33 years old, 5’4 ½ “. He had blue eyes, brown hair and had tattoos on both forearms. He gave his religion as Church of England. He gave his occupation as “Shoeing Smith”. He was awarded the 1914 Star. He gave his parents Frederick & Charlotte (of Hawk Lane, Elmswell) as next of kin.

Albert died in Suffolk in 1953 aged 71.
